Quick update: I’ll be presenting at the SFRA online conference and the State of Mark Twain Studies conference later this year.
The SFRA paper will be based on work I did during my first-year seminar class on crime and prisons in science fiction. It covers rehabilitation in the Doc Savage series.
The Twain paper is called “Learning to Dislike Tom Sawyer” and covers Twain’s relationship with his famous creation.
